For regular users, we do not require an account and we do not collect personally identifiable information.
The browser extension does not send us the words you type into a search engine. It sends the web addresses of the results on the page, so we can look up which of them are really free.
It also sends us an anonymous report when it works out a verdict: the domain name of the site, and which of our rules matched. Never the full web address, never the page text, never what you searched for. This is how we find out when we have marked something wrongly, and fix it.
Searching The Green List on this website is different: what you type reaches our server, because that is how the search runs. It is not attached to you, to an account, or to anything else you have done.
For Supporter accounts (businesses), we collect: your email address, business name, billing information (processed by Stripe — we do not store card numbers), and the products you list.
We use your email to send you account-related alerts: slot usage reminders, product status changes, and billing receipts. We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising.
We use session tokens to keep Supporter accounts logged in. We do not use third-party tracking cookies or analytics that profile individual users.
If you close your Supporter account, we delete your account data within 30 days. Log data may be retained for up to 90 days for security purposes.
We use Stripe for payment processing and Cloudflare for infrastructure. Both operate under their own privacy policies. We share only the data necessary for these services to function.
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by using our contact form. We will respond within 14 days.
We may update this policy. Material changes will be communicated by email to Supporter account holders.
